COMPANY HISTORY

On December 4^th, 1997, Secretary of the State of Minnesota, Joan Anderson Growe, certified Jacobson Body Shop, Inc. This officially recognized our company as a corporation in the State of Minnesota.

Our company was first opened in 1947 under the name of Jacobson Motors & Body Shop.  In the first years, we did both body and mechanical work.

The founder’s names were Eric, Al and Morris Jacobson. Ervin and Gordon Jacobson later joined them.

**Interesting Fact - In the late 40's, a complete refinish job cost $30.00.  Now, the same paint job would cost around $2,000.00!!**

Since 1947 the shop has continued to be owned and operated by the descendants of the Jacobson family.
